First American names Freddie''s ''Buddy'' as CFO

(Reuters) - Title insurer First American Corp (FAF.N) named former Freddie Mac (FRE.N) Chief Financial Officer Anthony "Buddy" Piszel as its CFO and treasurer.

Piszel, 54, replaces interim CFO Max Valdes.

"Piszel''s new responsibilities include overseeing First American''s financial reporting group, capital markets activities and investor relations," the company said in a statement.

Piszel will get an annual salary of $500,000 and a target annual performance bonus of $1 million, the company said in a regulatory filing.
