Global crisis to raise generics drug demand: Teva CEO
| TEL AVIV (Reuters) - The global economic slowdown will boost demand for generic medicines, the head of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (TEVA.O) (TEVA.TA) said on Tuesday. "Generics are a solution for governments wanting to cut costs during the global crisis," Shlomo Yanai, president and chief executive of Teva told a news conference.
