Pittsburgh mayor changes name in solidarity with Steelers

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The mayor of Pittsburgh has changed his name in an bid to lift the hometown Steelers to a victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday for a berth in the Super Bowl.

Mayor Luke Ravenstahl filed papers at the Allegheny County Department of Court Records to change his surname to Steelerstahl so not to jinx the Pittsburgh team in their AFC title game against the Ravens.

The mayor said he was making a temporary change at the suggestion of a local radio station.
